Blunsdon House Hotel Mass renewal of Wedding Vows |

As part of Best Western Premier Blunsdon House Hotel’s Golden Jubilee celebrations 45 couples took part in an emotional service led by the Rev Geoff Gleed to renew their wedding vows. There was happiness and laughter as Geoff recounted some of the couple’s stories about their weddings and there was hardly a dry eye in the room by the time the Service was over. Jane Day, who organized the event, said it was a fantastic experience, We searched for 6 months to find couples, one from each year since 1960, who held their wedding Receptions at Blunsdon House. We were overwhelmed by the response and afterwards over 180 people enjoyed a fabulous afternoon tea laid on by the hotel.

Blunsdon House Hotel nominated for a ‘Catey’ |

 The family owned four star Blunsdon House Hotel is celebrating being shortlisted by a distinguished judging panel for one of the ‘Catey’ trophies to be awarded in the Great Room, The Grosvenor House Hotel, , Park Lane, London W1 on Monday July 5th.
The hotel, which is celebrating its golden jubilee this year, has been nominated for the sustainable business award, Chris Clifford from the hotel said ‘The Cateys are the hotel industry’s equivalent to the Oscars and recognition from our industry peers does not come any higher than this’. |
